Welcome to Blessed by Arena Hair Salon! We're excited to have you join us for a fantastic hair care experience. Here's a friendly rundown of what you can expect when you walk through our doors

Terms of Service

Please read carefully and thank you for your interest in Blessed By Arena Hair Studio. See you soon!

Scheduling Your Appointment ​:

Appointments must be booked online and require a $17.00 non-refundable deposit (includes $2.00 service fee). The remaining $15.00 will be applied to the total cost of your service When booking services, be sure to select the appropriate service so your stylist knows how to plan the time needed to provide complete your service. It is also good practice to verify your contact information is up-to-date at the time of booking your appointment. Walk-in and same day appointments are rarely available so it is best to schedule your visits in advance. Most clients book during or after service for a better selection of availability. Appts requested via social media, email or text will be subject to a $7.00 convenience fee and will be added to the total cost of your service.  Therefore you are encouraged to book your appt online. Blessed by Arena Hair Studio Accepts all major credit cards, Google Pay, Zelle and cash for payment of services and products.  We do not accept checks or Cash App for payment. *Credit card payments require a $2.00 card service fee

Arrival Times, Changes, Cancellations, and No-Shows​:

A 24 hour notice is required to reschedule or cancel to prevent loss of deposit. Cancellations made less than a 24 hour notice automatically forfeit their deposit and could be charged up to 75% of service, plus processing fee.   NO SHOW up to 100% of service selected, plus processing fee and will be removed from my client list upon my discretion.  

Salon Policies

Prices are subject to change depending on length, density of hair and desired look. Due to the artistic nature of what we do, we cannot offer refunds on services performed.  Blessed by Arena Hair Studio stands firmly behind all of its salon services.  If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your service, please contact us immediately so we can remedy the situation. All custom hair color formulas are the intellectual property of Blessed by Arena Hair Studio. Unless they are being serviced, refrain from bringing children or any extra guest at your visit. Photos of services provided are subject to be taken. Review these terms and conditions often as they are subject to change.

  • Can I book an appointment a month in advance?
    No, appointments can only be booked starting on the 27th of the current month.
  • Are masks required during the entire service?
    Yes, masks must be worn throughout the entire service.
  • When are consultations required?
    Consultations are mandatory for all starter loc services and color services to discuss your desired look and cost.
  • Do you offer classes?
    Yes, we offer 1-on-1 classes for Locs, Silk Press, and Cut & Color Techniques.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and Zelle with a $2 card service fee. Cash App is no longer accepted
  • Have your prices changed?
    Yes, prices are subject to change.
  • Are emergency or squeeze-in appointments available?
    Sometimes, for a convenience fee of $27, which is not applied to services.

COVID 19 Safety Policies

At Blessed by Arena Hair Studio, your health and safety are paramount, especially during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We adhere strictly to the guidelines provided by the Alabama Board of Cosmetology and the Alabama Department of Public Health. To ensure a secure and effective environment for everyone, we have implemented the following policies:

1. Appointment Schedule and Social Distancing:

  • We operate on a strict schedule with limited service hours and appointment slots.

  • Please maintain a minimum six-foot distance from other clients and stylists when not receiving services. If necessary, clients may be asked to wait outside or in their vehicles to maintain social distancing.

2. Mask Requirement:

  • All clients are required to wear a mask or face covering that fully covers the nose and mouth throughout their entire salon visit without exceptions.

3. COVID-19 Screening:

  • To reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, please reschedule your appointment if you answer YES to any of the following questions within the past 7 days:

    • Have you tested positive for COVID-19?

    • Have you been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19?

    • Have you experienced a fever of 102°F or higher, cough, loss of taste or smell, shortness of breath, or other flu-like symptoms in the past 7 days?

4. Mask Provision and Cost Adjustment:

  • Due to the expenses associated with maintaining a safe environment, the cost of services has been increased. Additionally, please arrive wearing your mask, and do not bring additional guests.
